Now why is this a novella?? It was so easy to fall for both Cam and Trevor. These two young men haven’t seen each other in the last 4 years but now Trevor is back and with that the second chance for finding their way into each other’s arms.

I absolutely loved the way that there wasn’t much drama to their story. I loved the open conversations and how they talked about everything and anything. This was fast paced but I felt like I’ve known them both forever and when they finally confessed the full extent of their feelings left me with a big smile on my face.

My only problem with this story is that it is too short. But at the same time if it was longer I would have to read about them being apart and it would take longer for them to be together so, i guess I’m OK with just a few chapters after all.

“I didn’t want you to wonder”— I clear my throat —“if this was just a hookup. It’s not.”

“So no kissing at all then?” The way he says it, deep brown eyes dropping to my mouth, just a hint of disappointment in his tone, is killing me. “Not even one?”

The feel of his fingers against my neck is making me stupid. “I really want to take you out.”

He nods. “You will. But since I’ve been thinking about kissing you again since the minute you left the store, maybe we risk it. Set a timer or something.”

I’ve been thinking about kissing him again since I left too. And for the four years before that.
Which is why, against my better judgment, I don’t resist when he pulls me in. Our mouths meet in a firm press that feels so right, I just lean into the contact, savoring the connection.

He pulls back the barest breath.

“Hey, Google,” he mutters. “Set a timer for sixty seconds.”

If you’re an *avid* MM romance reader, you’re going to find this novella to be on the tamer side of *spicy* but the perfect side of *emotion*. That I know of, this is Mira’s first gay romance, and she did a phenomenal job with it. Would I have preferred it to be a more in-depth story? Sure, but not at the expense of the author’s talent. As I said, I’m pretty sure this is Mira’s first dip into gay romance and as such, short was the perfect way to go. But what do I know, I’m not an author LOL

Now, about this little morsel of goodness … Mira! There is nothing you cannot write! This story was genuine and comfortable and easy to fall into for a couple of hours. Not overly dramatic yet highly emotional in an understated way. My heart was super full reading this story and it put a huge smile on my face! But maaaaaaaaaaan, you gotta give us more of these two in the future because I LOVE THEM! *heart eyes*

4.5 rounded to 5 because half stars are not a thing!!
