This one was read so fast I was mad when the words THE END appeared. Alexa and Luke were just the cutest.
I was sucked into this relationship from the beginning and had a huge smile on my face throughout the story. If anyone knows what hard work is, is Luke. He can appreciate her work ethics, but he’s determined to make her see that she needs to create time for some fun.
Luke is dreamy to say the least. He was drawn to her from the moment he laid his eyes on her and wanted to show her how fun life can be if you allow yourself to play, even if it’s just for a little while. He brought out of Alexa the desire to do more than just work and be the doctor her father wants her to be. When she stood up to him and went after what she wanted for herself (Luke of course), I couldn’t be prouder of her.
I’ve started to notice a pattern with novellas lately and that’s because the stories are just too short for me. These two were so adorable that I wish I had more chapters with them.
