New series new couples to fall for. Wren was a big enigma in previous series. But now it’s time to finally see who the mystery doctor is. I want to say we get to know her pretty well, but she’s still a mystery to me. She runs a successful clinic that our favorite A-hole (Finnegan) uses frequently for his secret operations. And one of those operations has brought a new family who needs their help to Wren small town.
The oldest of them, Drake is trying to get hired by Wren. He too is a doctor and he wants to help her run it smoothly while she’s rising Milo (her sister’s boy). The attraction is there from the get go, but her past is not helping her trust Drake. But spending time together and seining him in action, makes her see he is worth letting her walls down.
This slow burn gave us a chance to see their relationship develop slowly and left us with a beautiful HEA they both deserved.
