I’ll start this review by saying she gave in to fast at the end. Look I get it this is a romance book I wanted him to show her(me) more why he deserved the spot as her man and the father to their child. But if I ignore this, everything else was as the title states perfect.

Erin was not your average damsel in distress. Even when she was in danger, she was smart and resourceful, and wouldn’t let me be trampled over by the overprotective men in her life. She really was a badass through and through.

Cole was closed off as one can be. His upbringing left permanent scars on him and his job is not helping him be more open. But after he spent his one night with Erin and now her having his baby and danger surrounding her, he realized (not soon enough for me but OK :P) just what a precious gift she is to him. And really did change his whole life to be with her so there’s that…

I’m looking forward what kinda trouble with Sam encounters with his love interest in the next book, because I really loved the youngest Marsden sibling.
