Fake around and find out is book one in the Happy Haven Series. This is an enemies to lovers, fake dating, rom-com. There was lots of banter with laugh out loud moments. Not only does this take place in a small town, but it’s a trailer park in a small town. So as you can imagine there is lots of drama, crazy, and nosey neighbors making things extra interesting!

Cara is a grump who’s been on down on her luck in life. I have to admire her sass and her fight for independence though. She’s stubborn as a mule. Monroe has some big aspirations and is willing to get down and dirty to meet his goals. He’s a really good guy and I love how he supports his mother.

This book was not what I was expecting! Not in a bad, I just didn’t really realize 100% what the plot wass, clearly I skimmed the blurb but now it all makes sense and so does the title. This book is not only funny, but pretty steamy as well. We even get a little cameo of Scarlett Toys if you’ve read that series. Shade def has a knack for writing some chaotic yet hilarious stories. Can’t wait to see what she comes up with next in this series.
