I absolutely love Stacey Lynn. She never fails to amaze me how easily I fall for her characters. And Dawson and Hailey are at the very top of my favorite couples written by her.
Dawson’s family is doing a great job with causing havoc in his life. Its time to make a change if he wants to keep playing the sport he’s put his heart and soul into. Management has put down an ultimatum and he has no choice but to follow through with it. What he didn’t expect was that an ultimatum will bring him the best thing to ever happen to him.
Hailey is trying to get past the humiliation that her ex caused her. Her friend arrangements the meeting with Dawson and soon they’re spending time together and blurring the lines they set up in the beginning. But having a troubled past causes Dawson to retreat to his usual behavior and it almost makes them lose the HEA they both deserve and want.
The way these two find their way back to each other left me with a silly smile on my face and i wish i could read this book for the first time all over again.
