I’ve been following the Spearman since book 1 and it’s finally Lysanders turn to find his HEA. But getting there is not smooth sailing. He’s still doing everything to keep his siblings safe and away from their mother. But just when he thinks life couldn’t possibly hold more troubles for him, a teenage daughter appears on his doorstep. His take charge attitude wants to make sure she is taken care of. With her comes her guardian who is also her cousin, Camila.
Camila is smart, strong and quite younger than Lysander (15 years). Their attraction and chemistry is felt throughout this slow burn, but they both agree for Kenzi’s sake they’ll not act on it. But harboring such strong feelings is hard to ignore, soon they give in but the outcome hurts them both. But love so profound is not so easily forgotten and with time they found their way back into each other’s arms.
We finally get the conclusion what actually happened all those years ago with their parents. I was so happy to see their mother got to jail for all that she’s ever done. And hopefully the Spearman family will find nothing but happiness moving forward.
