It was painful to read the abuse Eva endured with her ex. As she reaches the small town she visited as a kid, she can finally let her guard down for a second. Especially when she’s reintroduced to Theo.

Theo can’t help but sense that there’s something very wrong with Eva. But he knows better than most just how deep trauma can run. Protectiveness comes surging strong and soon he’ll do anything and everything in order to keep her safe and sound.

Just when they thought they could relax, life has a way of throwing you for a loop and they’ll both have to fight to come out stronger on the other side.
