Oooo boy where do i start?! Our MCs have known each other since they were kids. They have a past that has been simmering for a decade and now their circumstances have thrown them together once again.
Everleigh has to return to her hometown now that her beloved grandmother has passed. She was not ready for it any more that she was ready to face Jensen again. And here I have a problem with him. She has just lost her grandmother and he thought (with the help of his friends) that flat out lying to her to see if she still has feelings for him was the right thing!!! Don’t get me wrong he more than made up for this, but it left an impression I couldn’t get past it to the end (#sorrynotsorr).
Jensen has loved her since they were little. Their night together has left him unable to settle down because his heart knew she was it for him. And now that she’s back, he is more than ready to make her see what she’s been missing and just how good they could be together. And their rediscovery of a lost relationship was such a treat to read. They really were perfect for each other, and despite his initial mistake, he did more than make up for it by the end of the book.
My recommendation for reading this book? Sit back, grab a glass of wine, relax and enjoy.
