I just finished this story this morning aaaaaaaaaand … *happy sigh*

It’s been a couple of years since I’ve read an AJ book and the ones I did read back in 2020 were a little more sexy-sexy, if you know what I mean. Well, now I know that she can write (and do it very well) a small town, full of feelings, contemporary romance that tried to burst my heart. So much swoon, that I was honestly sorry to see it end.

This story will make you laugh in equal parts as make you emotional. It’s a bit of a slow-burn that may have kinda dragged a bit in some places, but none of those little things compares to the big picture, or the sweet spot as I like to call it. LOL I rooted for these two from the very beginning. That’s what you want in a romance, or at least that’s what I need in order for it to work. This one works. #trust
