Oblivious is a sweet and steamy contemporary m/m romance about best friends who don’t know they’re already dating. Noah and August are always touching, finish each other’s sentences, and bristle whenever the other gets within six feet of a date, but they can’t see what’s crystal clear to everyone else. Oblivious features badly timed schmexy texts, a hot kiss that rocks two men’s universes, and (unofficially, but likely) the highest number of heartfelt marriage proposals in a romance novel ever.

Noah, in love with his best friend August, (who happens to be OBLIVIOUS to Noah’s feelings).
I think the best part of this story was their unbreakable friendship. I really liked how it was used to move them into a steamy, romantic, deeply connected relationship. I also liked how their employees and family were all in their business, pushing them to realize just how right they were for each other.
It seemed as though there may be other book(s) connected to these characters but I didn’t feel lost at all.
The author addressed the fact that their office behavior isn’t really acceptable by todays standards. I feel that this is a work of fiction and their behavior really has no bearing in reality. Besides, I kept looking forward to the next text! Maybe I’m just not politically correct enough.
As much as I enjoyed the story, I felt it lacked something, no idea what though. I would recommend it however to anyone who wants to enjoy two men joyfully discovering what they really knew all along.
