Michael is a gunslinger, on the hunt for a dangerous wild beast. When he meets Shiloh, an omega of the evening, he becomes distracted, intrigued, and determined to not become entangled with Shiloh.
This was a sweet story, filled with violence and vengeance. I know it seems they don’t go together but it worked. Shiloh was definitely a “soiled dove”. I liked that he had no qualms about his profession. Forced into it by circumstances beyond his control, he embraced what he became.
This book contained quite a few strong strong personalities. I thought the author did a decent job of making most of them subservient to Shiloh’s omega.
This was certainly a different Alpha/omega love story. Fueled by Shiloh’s need to get away from an evil in his past and Michaels need to kill the monster that ruined his life. All this in an old west setting worked really well.
