Lemon is a stripper, so named because of his tiny yellow thong. He truly does have a heart of gold and cares deeply about the other entertainers he works with. But his own heartbeat is untouchable.
Atlas is undercover trying to find an embezzler. He needs to be concentrating on his job, not the beautiful man who rules the pole in the club. “I’m a genuinely sweet guy, or so everyone says, but I have my limits” and Lemon has pushed every one of them.
A lot of snark, a wee bit of angst, some imaginative pole action, and a devastating betrayal made this an engaging book. Not a lot of action but the Mike Bravo Ops team were in fine form as always.
This has been a well done series. The author is a favorite.
