OMG what a ride this book was. After reading all the books in this series I’m seriously considering going all P/N from this point on. The dance between Zora and Maddox has been a fun journey to follow. I fell for the Demigod since the first book and I was super excited to see if the fling would turn out to be more. And Sawyer Bennett did not disappoint.
I could relate to well with Maddox> and the feeling of loving someone and the person not loving you back or feeling like they don’t. And imagine being immortal beside that. When she pushed him away, he had little choice but to accept her decision. And at this point was where i fell for Zora too.
She was struggling with her new role as a God. It was because of this that she thought that pushing Maddox away would make that job easier. But when the dark power rises again and threatens to destroy everything, she finally realizes that her love for him is what makes her stronger and she’s determined to remove the threats and confess her feelings. But that would turn out to be not an easy job. And the fact that she had to go to him at the end of the day to plead her case? I’m not gonna lie, that felt right and good :)
As said in the beginning I’m addicted to this series and I’m excited to see what comes next.
