2 doctors having a thing for each other, but the timing was off. Max is a caring and all-round good guy. Heidi is coming out of an abusive relationship. Her ex is a sore spot for Max because he almost destroyed his family. And due to this Max is taking it out on Heidi. But when she’s pushed one time to many, they finally clear the air about her ex and her involvement with him at the time. Now all bets are off. The time they spend together reveals just how well suited they are. Max feels like he’s finally found someone to share his burden with and Heidi finally found someone who sees her and accepts her with all her flaws.

This story started out rocky because Max was really pushing it with this attitude towards Heidi. But the more the story progressed we get to see he’s so much more than a grumpy ass. You’ll fall hard for him and wish to be the one to hold him and promise that everything will turn out OK.
