Trust (Wrong, #3) by Jana Aston

“Knock knock!”

“Um… Who’s there?”

Yeah. That was me, on my last date. Before you feel sorry for me

you should know that I was the one telling the jokes. Jokes as in

plural, because I didn’t stop with just one. Of course not.

Hi, I’m Chloe Scott. The most awkward single girl in the city.

But I’m going to get it together. I am.

I’m going to learn how to date like a grown up.

I’m going to have an orgasm not given to myself.

I’m going to fall in love and live happily ever after.

Right after I get out of this interrogation room.

“Is that your shoulder holster?”

I nod. I’ve never attempted to restrain a woman before with it, never wanted to, but I suspect Chloe will be game.

“Arms over your head,” I tell her as I loop the holster in half and approach the bed. She nods eagerly, lying back and stretching her arms above her head. I don’t have anything to attach this to, and I’m fairly certain she’ll be able to wiggle out of this contraption if she wants to, but that’s not the point.

She watches fascinated as I slip it over her wrists and tighten the adjustable straps.

“It’s government-issued, right?” she asks, wetting her lips with her tongue.

This. Fucking. Girl.

“Absolutely,” I agree and walk to the foot of the bed where I wrap my hands around her ankles and tug her towards me. She yelps, not expecting it. And I think she might meow when I prop her thighs on my shoulders. It’s hard to quantify what that noise was. Could also have been coming from me. I really do enjoy having my face between her thighs.

I kiss the spot right above her mound then spread her lips apart with my thumbs and flick her clit with my tongue. But I’m just getting warmed up. Because I don’t like doing this. I fucking love it.

OMG Book Review

Trust by Jana Aston

When I read book 1 in this series, Wrong, I was completely blown away. Not only did the characters captivate me and capture my heart, but the story was just out of this world hilarious. I had the greatest time reading it. And I also fell in love with the side characters so of course Jana Aston fell on my radar as a must read author. Now, expectations being what they are, book 2 in the series, Right, had huge shoes to fill, imo. It was good in its own right, but because its predecessor was so good, it fell a little short for me. And I was worried. Worried that maybe Jana was going to be a good author with a one-hit wonder.

Let me tell ya’ll about the greatness that is Trust. It was fun. It was entertaining. It was unique. It was on point. It was fridiculously phenomenal. The journey of Chloe and Boyd unfolded so uniquely that I honestly didn’t want it to end. When Chloe had her ah-ha moment, I wanted to cry because I knew the end was near. And if there was ever two people that you are going to just want to continue to read about, it’s going to be Chloe and Boyd. They were completely in-tuned to one another and their character never faltered. It was truly a magical story. And oh so heart-warming. Boyd was all the things and Chloe was even more things …. GAH, I just want to read then over and over again for the first time.

This is an excellent representation of what a realistic romantic comedy should be and it is by far one of the best I have read in quite some time!
