The Pecker Briefs an all-new hot and hilarious and romantic standalone from New York Times & USA Today bestselling author Sawyer Bennett is live!
I never thought a pecker would get me in so much trouble.
I mean, sure… if you’re talking about a certain anatomical feature of mine that the ladies just love. Given my bachelor status and appreciation for all things curvy and feminine, I could absolutely see that. But a different pecker is making my life much harder than it needs to be.
My name is Ford Daniels, partner at the law firm of Knight & Payne, and my latest case has me wading through the finer points of peckers—woodpeckers that is. Specifically, the red-cockaded woodpecker. I swear, I can’t make this stuff up but that’s what the sexy-as-hell blonde chained to a tree told me this morning.
Her name is Viveka Jones and she is so much more than a pretty face. She’s got wit, charm, and razor-sharp smarts. Turns out my client is looking to bulldoze the red-cockaded woodpecker’s natural habitat in favor of a multimillion-dollar subdivision and the sexy attorney with legs for days (and days), just happens to be counsel for an animal rights group looking to put a halt to construction.
My client’s pissed, but all I can think about is getting Viveka across the table from me. And then on the table underneath me. Perhaps up against the wall. And then—
Well, let’s just say when it’s all said and done, I’m hoping the red-cockaded woodpecker isn’t the only pecker that gets some attention from Miss Viveka Jones.

Viveka and Ford oppose each other in the courtroom, but only there, in The Pecker Briefs.
The Pecker Briefs is an amusing, heartwarming tale. Viv and Ford spark together, they continuously made me smile. They are unexpected and refreshing. It was so easy to fall in love with Ford.
I found The Pecker Briefs to be a well written book, paced evenly and so much fun to get lost in. The story is intriguing and made me hate putting it down. This is book 7 of a series, but can be read perfectly as a standalone. I’ve missed a few books in this series and was able to dive right back into The Pecker Briefs.
4,5 “Hail to the peckers” stars 😍
Lord have mercy – after finishing this I was just so blissfully happy that my husband was looking at me like I’ve lost my mind.
These two was sweet, funny, sexy and HOT. From the very first encounter to the end of the book you could just feel heat and chemistry coming off the pages. One of the facts why I liked this story was due to the fact that they are both mature adults who know what’s important in life and love.
I loved how Viveka (I love her name) handled her mother and how Ford supported her at that. I loved the way he would compromise just so they can be together;
»Next time, you do not have to send your dog’s away. I will learn to like them.«
And Ford’s confession of love – talk about funny declaration:
»Viv, « I say in exasperation. » I just want to have a moment’s privacy with you to tell you I love you, but for fuck’s sake. I’ll say it right here. I don’t care if Reeve, Leary and Charlie hear me. «
I went through my GR list of read book and I found that this is my first Sawyer Bennett book?!? What in the world…I think it’s safe to say my TBR list has just increase for a few book right about now
