(The Blueberry Lane Series)
Shane Olson, who previously dated Priscilla’s sister, Margaret, isn’t opposed to a marriage of convenience for the sake of furthering his business interests, but Priscilla – with her wild ways – is just about the last woman he’d choose to marry.
In order to make the marriage look convincing, they end up having to spend more time together than they’d originally planned. When rolling stone, Priscilla, who lives by the seat of her muu-muu, and seriously-ambitious Shane, who’s had his whole life planned since he was eleven, start falling for each other, it’s going to take a whole lot of compromise for this Bohemian and her Businessman to find their happily ever after.
The Bohemian and The Businessman is a sweet, sexy, story. A marriage of convenience turns into more for Priscilla and Shane.
Priscilla is the oddball of her family. Her clothing and her life is colorful. She’s an artist who loves to create. Coming from an uptight family, she’s always been searching for her place in life. She briefly meets Shane before taking off, and when she returns, she meets him again, under the most unusual of circumstances. Shane and Priscilla work out a deal. When P needs more time, Shane gives it to her, and the two begin to spend more time together.
These two characters are a perfect opposites attract. Where they do have a few similarities, Shane is buttoned up and black and white. He fits in well with the family P has never fully felt at home with. Priscilla looks past that and sees the man behind the suit. Together, they create a scorching tale of learning to love and trust. It’s an engaging story with a quirky heroine and a unique hero. It flows well, and can be read as a standalone or as part of the Blueberry Lane series.
