Here we meet two men on very different paths; Thane Walker, successful businessman, doesn’t want to commit and is perfectly happy paying for an escort to see to his needs. Being in a relationship―never mind a monogamous one― is just not on his radar and Levi Silva; works hard and has a chance at a place at Johns Hopkins, one of the top medical schools in America, that is until his dad passes away and he’s left struggling to provide for his two younger brothers. Now Levi has a chance to make some serious money waiting tables at an exclusive club, Reservations, where he’s spotted by Thane. What follows is an intense mutual attraction but there’s no way in hell Levi will succumb to Thane’s suggestion of being a paid companion with no commitment, even if there’s plenty of monetary perks being Thane’s side piece. I really didn’t warm to Thane initially, I thought he was arrogant and obtuse for not understanding that not every guy would be willing to sleep with him for the chance of some cash, I mean, he was genuinely gobsmacked that Levi could turn his offer down. But, as with all great reads, the authors peeled back Thane’s layers and we began to see what motivated him and the reasons why committing to someone is such a foreign concept to him and I started to warm to him and cheered him on as we began to see him falling in love for the first time. I adored Levi, he was so pure and full of integrity, he had such a heavy weight on his shoulders looking after his brothers, and he was such a genuinely beautiful guy, inside and out, I really wanted him to get a break and find his happy. I’ll not spoil any of the book for you, but more misconceptions arise, strangers from the past appear and things get a little worse before they get better. At one point I wondered if Thane would ever turn this around so Levi could see the real him. It was great to revisit characters from previous books like Tristan, Dylan and Arik and see how they’re fairing too (I love the banter between Tristan and Dylan!). This was a good read which I thoroughly enjoyed and there was quite alot of depth and emotion to the story and it’s definitely on a par with the authors’ other works. How they can turn my feelings ‘round on character, from disliking him to willing him on is quite remarkable and is testament to their top-notch writing ability.

OMG where do I start with Thane and Levi?!?! The last couple of books in MM genres haven’t been all good choices but when give the chance to read Kindle Alexander I jumped on it. I have a friend who’s a big fan and mentioned a couple of times that I need to try their work and I’m soooo glad I did.
What I liked best about this book is that Levi wasn’t a “weak” character even with all his problems in life that seem to be putting him down.
Thane on the other hand took a bit of reading before I felt for him too. Their chemistry was of the charts – I can’t find the words to explain the hotness 🔥🔥🔥. The need for each other, growing love and trust between them.
I was crying halfway through the book and laughing like a lunatic by the end of it. This book just did something to me and I’m more then excited to have finally read a KA book and don’t even get me started how anxious of a wait it will be for Julian’s book.
I’m a HUGE fan

When Levi’s new job puts him in Thane’s path, their chemistry explodes, but their fear of being involved in relationships keeps them apart. Unfortunately, despite the intense desire drawing them together, neither man can move forward until they get past their own…Reservations.
