Rebel Yule by Kate Meader
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I’ve been a fan of Kate’s work for a long time. Some have won me over more than others, and this series started out rocky for me, but I’ve always come back to her because the outstanding has always out measured the rocky and she writes a damn good sports series, every single time 🙂

Rebel Yule was refreshing for me. There was nothing over the top about Erik and Casey’s journey but the swoom-factor was exponential. They made me happy and so did their journey. The building of their friendship from the rubble, as they say was done perfectly and then they leveled up and my heart soared.

Excellent writing and character development in such a short read. I was actually a little stunned that no plot point was left hanging because this is a novella and that can happen easily. See, another reason I love Kate! LOL

I would say if you’re new to Kate’s writing, this is a perfectly good story to start with and it will hook you to her, butif you want to fully understand the team dynamic and secondary characters, you should probably start at the beginning. Do with that info what you will 🙂

Meet Kate!

Originally from Ireland, USA Today bestselling author Kate Meader cut her romance reader teeth on Maeve Binchy and Jilly Cooper novels, with some Harlequins thrown in for variety. Give her tales about brooding mill owners, oversexed equestrians, and men who can rock an apron, fire hose, or hockey stick, and she’s there. Now based in Chicago, she writes sexy contemporary romance with big-hearted guys and strong heroines – and heroes – who can match their men quip for quip.
