Prime Minister (Frisky Beaver #1) by Ainsley Booth & Sadie Haller

Title: Prime Minister

Series: Frisky Beaver #1

Authors: Ainsley Booth & Sadie Haller

Genre: Erotic Romance

Publisher: BoothHaller Books (self-published)

Release Date: May 31, 2016

Ellie Montague is smart, sensitive, and so gorgeous it hurts to look at her. She’s also an intern in my office. The office of the Prime Minister of Canada.*

That’s me. The PM.

She calls me that because when she calls me Sir, I get hard and she gets flustered, and as long as she’s my intern, I can’t twist my hands in her strawberry-blonde hair and show her what else I’d like her to do with that pretty pink mouth.**

How much I like the PM varies on a daily basis. He’s intense, controlling, and a perfectionist in every way—and he demands the same of his staff.

How much I want him never wavers.

There’s something about him that tugs at me deep inside, and makes me wish that just once he’d cross the line in a late night work session. I’d take that secret to the grave if it meant I got a taste of the barely restrained beast inside him.***

* This is a fictional erotic romance. No prime ministers or interns were harmed in the making of this book.

** Except it’s a BDSM romance, so they were hurt a little.

*** Spoiler alert: she gets more than a taste. And she likes it.

omg Review of the book

Prime Minister by Ainsley Booth

I read this a total of three times during beta read and I’m about to read the final product this week and I just have to say … Ellie and Gavin … they’re just lovely **happy sigh**

Some of the most difficult reviews I have to write are those where the MCs capture my heart and don’t let go. Ellie Montague and Gavin Strong are two such people #mypeople 🙂 They’re difficult because I feel my words are inadequate in conveying my love for them. Not just their journey, but them as individuals.

Ellie Montague is innocent yet curious. She’s assertive yet shy. She’s beautiful, intelligent, sexy and a risk taker. She’s a woman who knows what she wants and boldly goes after it. And she wants Gavin Strong.

Gavin Strong
is a man of power. He’s the Prime Minister of Canada. He’s handsome and intelligent with an easy going personality all wrapped up in a kinky package! He’s intense and dominant but he has one kryptonite … Ellie Montague.

I pull my head back and look deep into her eyes. I’m so lost. I don’t know how I got here, and I have no interest in finding my way back to wherever it is I was.

Those words are the most accurate in describing the utter feeling of contentment and just plain happiness I felt while reading Gavin & Ellie’s journey. I too was lost in the words. The story sucked me in from page one and I couldn’t get enough. I didn’t want it to end. I just wanted more …

While I’ve read all of Ainsley Booth’s work and know her unique sensual voice, this was my first experience with Sadie Haller. I am SO impressed with these two women. Their words were seamless. Where one stops and the other writes, I could not tell you. They are a phenomenal team. There is no aspect of this book that is lacking. The characterizations are spot on and remained on point throughout the entire story. No part of the story came out of left field. Everything had a meaning. Everything had a purpose. #flawless

This is a story of two people from two worlds dancing around each other under the watchful eye of one world. It’s sexy and sensual and smooth and easy going with laughter and warmth and lots of sexy sexy. It’s a happy story that will put a smile on your face and fill your heart with high-spirited joy!

I cannot recommend this story to you highly enough! #TRUTH

“Who was the email from?”

Oh my God, I’m so busted. “Nobody.”

“You work for the hottest bachelor in the country, Ellie. I don’t believe you. Who. Was. The. Email. From?”

“The PM,” I squeak, sinking low in the booth.

“Not horny, my ass. You’re thinking of him right now.”

Well, that isn’t fair. I think about him constantly. “Only because I got an email from him three minutes ago.”

“Was it dirty?”

“Of course not.”

“Wanna bet it was dirty between the lines?”

“I’d take that bet in a second. There’s zero chance that the PM would ever do anything inappropriate like that.”

She narrows her eyes at me. “Interesting.”

“No. Nothing is interesting.”

“You didn’t say that he wasn’t attracted to you, that there was nothing there, that he’s in a relationship or gay, or any other excuse you could give for why there’d never be anything dirty between you.”

“Are you out of your mind? I’m…” I lower my voice. “I’m an intern. He’s the leader of the government. If for no other reason than the optics of that are awful, I’m sure I’m not his type.”

“Because beautiful, bendy redheads are never anyone’s type.”

“I’m really more of a blonde.”

“Those are also known to never, ever get any action.”

“I’m awkward.”

“It really trips over the line into adorably nervous most of the time.”

“I’m…” I flail my hands in the air. “Sasha! Listen to me. I’m just a regular woman. I’m nobody that Gavin would ever be interested in.”

“So why do you turn pink every time you read your email?”

Mom by day and filthy romance writer by night, Ainsley Booth is super grateful for caffeine, banana and blueberry muffins, and yoga pants
