Lucky Chance by Lea Coll

Title: Lucky Chance
Series: Second Chance Harbor #3
Author: Lea Coll
Genre: Small Town Contemporary Romance
Tropes: Grumpy Meets Sunshine, Forbidden
Release Date: June 14, 2022

He’s grumpy and I radiate sunshine. But I can’t get him out of my head.

Colton Castle and I are nothing alike. He’s a gruff police officer who only seems to see the worst in people. I’m the free spirit who believes there’s good in everyone.

When there’s trouble in my neighborhood, he’s everywhere I turn, looking sexy in his uniform. I start to see a different side of him. He’s protective and caring. And makes my heart race.

There’s a problem: he’s my sister’s ex, which means he’s completely off limits. He seems just as determined as me to ignore the connection. Yet the back-and-forth banter between us feels a lot like foreplay, and I’ve become addicted to the rush.

Except I want love and a family. Why am I drawn to someone who doesn’t want the same thing?

Lucky Chance by Lea Coll
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

We’re back to Annapolis and this time it’s Remi’s turn to find her HEA. Imagine my surprise when she found it in the arms of her sister’s high-school boyfriend. The more time they spent together, the more attraction was impossible to ignore.

I loved how they complimented each other. Colton was too serious and she needed some structure in her life. Together they made a great couple and I was so happy to see that he wanted to be and get better so he could be the right man for her.

I love coming back to this city and this series and I can’t wait to for the next book to brighter up my day.
