Title: Arrogant Savior
A Cocky Hero Club Novel
Author: Terri E. Laine
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Release Date: November 1, 2020
A last-minute trip puts me face to face with the most arrogant man I’ve ever met.
Grant King maybe hot as all get out, but he’s a grade A jackass.
Before I even board the chartered flight, his irritating and judgmental comments make me want to throttle him;
Bringing out my snarky side.
Only what was supposed to be a five-hour trip turns into my worst nightmare.
The last thing I want to do is spend anymore time with the gorgeous jerk.
But weather forces us to land in a small town I’ve never heard of.
One night in a rustic cabin is far too much, add in a road trip and interstate highway shut down,
And we’re put in close quarters one too many times that sparks heat between us.
By the time we part ways, I’m on the fence about never seeing him again.
What I don’t expect on my first day back as a flight attendant is to meet the new pilot.
The universe is against me.
I’m determined not to fall for his charms and be another notch on his bedpost.
He, on the other hand, sees things differently.
Though I might protest, our ending is one I don’t see coming.

Not gonna lie, Grant tested me at the beginning. He was just so abrupt and in your face that I was really turned off. I actually set my kindle down and thought I would DNF this book. I still can’t get over the choice the author made to make him such a grade a prick at the start of this book. And you know what, he wasn’t arrogant as the title would lead you to believe. He was a prick. There’s a huge difference. But okay, let’s move on LOL
Okay, so once I let go of my feelings to throat punch Grant, I started to kinda sorta enjoy their back and forth. Most of their story took place on the snarky side but after it got rolling and Grant and Jolene got their act together (miscommunications running amok I say) it turned out pretty okay for me. It was just such a strong dislike of Grant at the beginning that I’m afraid it put a shade on my mind towards him and it was just really hard to root for them. *sigh* not a bad read, but not the greatest either *shrug*
