I’m captivated. The narrative gripped me from beginning to end, compelling me to flip through the pages at breakneck speed, almost as if my fingers might ignite.
Ethan has just discovered he has a daughter he never knew existed. Desperate to connect with her, he tries everything to get her to open up to him and his family. When all else fails, he enlists Marcie’s help. Her serene demeanor and confidence gradually help Sylvie to lower her defenses.
However, the animosity between the Blackburns and the Mardraggons is anything but resolved, and if this book is any indication, we’re in for quite the adventure.
